Hello everyone!
The exciting touchdown on Mars surface got us imagining the moment we'll receive the first images of the Israeli flag on the moon and the excitement in our control room when the words "touchdown confirmed" will be heard. In this spirit we keep moving forward.

Our team includes over 160 crew members and volunteers, seven of which work full time in addition to IAI employees hard at work on the project. Most of our volunteers, from all over the country, have a technological background which they acquired at the IDF and nearly 20% are women. We thank each and every one of you for getting one stop closer in achieving our ambitious goal of landing an Israeli Spaceship on the moon.

So far we have reached over 14000 teenagers all over Israel, and were still at it! Furthermore, over 8000 children have already been exposed to our animated short movie created by BrainpopOur two educational programs in Ashdod are on hold due to the summer vacation, but will resume in the next school year. The development of the SpaceIL-Davidson Institute all country school program is moving forward at full speed and we expect to see the first results soon. The next challenge is increasing exposure throughout Israel through our media partners. We even lectured a month ago at the Knesset Space committee (a sub committee of The Science committee), during a meeting dedicated to science education and SpaceIL.

Stay tuned for more updates soon!
