"Earth is the cradle of humanity, but one cannot remain in the cradle forever."

With this powerful statement, Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, the father of theoretical and applied cosmonautics, announced the birth of the expansion of civilization to outer space and beyond. Only by leaving the cradle can humankind be united as one. There are no nations in space, only cosmic humans. Human civilization is on the brink of achieving a SYNERGY of unity through a new SPACE RENEISSANCE. On an overpopulated planet with diminishing resources, humankind is nearing a dead end that must be overcome by an evolutionary leap: beginning human settlement away from planet Earth. Through exploring and utilizing extraterrestrial resources, the seed of a new human race on the MOON and MARS will be sown.


The famous scientist Nikola Tesla constructed the first remotely controlled apparatus. In 1898, six years before the Wright brothers flew, Tesla designed and built a pair of radio controlled boats, patented as "Method of and Apparatus for Controlling Mechanism of Moving Vessels or Vehicles" by the US Patent Office. The boats were constructed of iron, powered by an electric battery, and equipped with a radio-mechanical receiver accepting commands from a wireless transmitter. The boat could be made to move and turn according to the inventor's wishes---from a distance. This extraordinary apparatus was nothing else but a simple application of Tesla's wireless system. Inside the vessel there were Tesla coils tuned to other coils on shore controlled by Tesla himself. Tesla had foreseen: “Telautomats will be ultimately produced, capable of acting as if possessed of their own intelligence, and their advent will create a revolution.” in his book My Inventions, published in 1921.


Google Lunar X PRIZE Team SYNERGY MOON will deploy its signature robotic rovers, called TESLA, as a contender in this race. Team SYNERGY MOON shares the vision of Nikola Tesla: privately funded robotic exploration vehicles, Telautomats, will indeed create a revolution. Automated exploration vehicles, without human crew, are essential for the lunar resource research that will lead to the permanent presence of humans on the MOON and MARS. The TESLA MOON ROVERs are equipped with HD cameras to record and broadcast their exploration of the lunar surface. The Tesla Surveyor rover will be followed by a second rover, the Tesla Prospector that will carry out research and prospecting duties.
