Our newest team members in Antofagasta attended an orientation workshop last week, SpaceCamping (a NewSpace Bootcamp), developed and provided by our Synergy Moon Antofagasta Team Leader Bipin Agravat :-) 

Mission of the Workshop is to provide the hands on learning opportunity to the student and faculty, supported by introducing them to excitement of space exploration: in terms of robotics and functionality using Chart, Data. Images, video and interaction, Thus leverage their enthusiasm to work on Moon Rover design.

Day 1, 13th Tuesday..
We have a Presentations about the Space in General, current scenario in Space and Space Environment introduction for Human and Rover... 4 professor and 8 student from Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical department attended the workshop of day to get them introduce to the Space in general, GLXP, Team Synergy moon. and than to Space environment and Robotic for Rover design, System, sub system, space project life cycle, Element of Rover design, Materials uses,  Payload of Rover,  Difference in earth based robotic and Space based robotics and changes in design scenario for  4 hours lecture slide, finding and video presentation ..

Day 2. 14th of Tuesday
                                    We have specific task to design a Rover under the design and structure constraint for shape size and functionality of rover to avoid the obstacle using the Lego Mind storm kits with to different design with two group of student lead by the professors.  for whole day.. This design we arrived through brainstorming the various design principals and fell safe scenario, student are activitly  participating . It will be completed by afternoon and ready to rove the laboratory surface. soon.

After the workshop: Professor and Student will be given a task and material to work on various Rover related design,payload and structure development elements.. during a months period of time, and then we will do another workshop traget to our approved design of the rover.. and payload.. with Metal and other material..
