Synergy on Isle of Man

This week, World Space Week 2010, was the GLXP Team Summit meeting, held on the Isle of Man, also known as SpaceIsle. There was lots of blogging and general coverage of the meeting. I met two of my team members there for the first time, Miroslav Ambros Kis (Mak), journalist and adventurer, and Olav Zipser, consultant and inventor of the extreme sport of FreeFlying. Both were interviewed by SpaceKate about their future adventures in space.

Olav had the opportunity to meet and talk to rocket man Tim Pickens, Team Leader of the Rocket City Space Pioneers, about his next extreme sports project, Space Diving.

Our marketing consultants, Nik Titanic and Sinesa Marekovic, partners and owners of TM Creative Studio , attended the first day to get a better understanding of the competition and the teams involved, and to learn firsthand about SpaceIsle. They pitched their new space marketing campaign, Space 2.0, Making Space Available for Everyone, to Amanda Stiles of the X PRIZE Foundation, and Chris Stott, Honorary Representative of the Isle of Man Government to the Space Community.
