Moon Lighter by Zorislav Shoyat

The Moon Lighter is a light art projector for the Light Art Exhibition on the Moon. This was officially announced in GEO magazine (in German in June 2011, in Croatian in November 2011). The development has now come to the point that we can present our first prototype drawings.  These are the preliminary drawings of the Moon-lighter, after initial experimental development. There are many things yet to be solved, i.e. the materials, lens, and thermic stability.  We intend to make first experiments in the tunnels of the Visoko Pyramids, where the air is extremely clean, and from our last experimental experiences there, there is extremely low (if any) diffusion of light in the air!  There was no light, and no diffusion of it, just absolute darkness :)  Due to the lack of diffusion, we can test there also situations in which we have to project on a smallish rock with the Sun behind it!
