InterPlanetary Ventures, the Human Synergy Project, and Interorbital Systems joined forces to become Team SYNERGY MOON. With working groups in over 15 countries, Team SYNERGY MOON actively promotes international cooperation in space exploration and development. We will use a lunar-direct launch of an Interorbital Systems’ modular NEPTUNE rocket to carry a lunar lander and at least one rover to the surface of the Moon. That rover will, at a minimum, travel 500 meters across the lunar surface, and transmit video, images, and data back to Earth. SYNERGY MOON will prove that an international, private-sector team can do what has never been done before: move private enterprise into space beyond Earth orbit.
California Space Authority Board Member Celeste Volz Ford commented on the link between science and the humanities, "For the space enterprise community to maintain its edge in the global space market, our future workforce is going to consist of engineers who think like artists and artists who think like engineers.” Speaking on the future of space exploration, Nicolas Peter, a research fellow at the European Space Policy Institute, commented “This adventure will be driven primarily by a quest for knowledge, involving not only the hard sciences, but arts and humanities as well.”
Team SYNERGY MOON is an eccentric, electrifying merge of the arts and sciences. We represent a collaboration of individuals from over 15 countries and our numbers are growing. We are pioneers in human space travel and interplanetary exploration. Our technological innovations will make manned orbital travel, personal satellite launches, and Solar System exploration cost-effective, and above all, possible for everyone. Through aerospace research and development, rocket launch services, and a wide range of public events and awareness campaigns, we aim to inspire and invigorate humanity's desire to explore the Moon, Mars, and space beyond.
Our spirit is one of social entrepreneur meets extreme adventurer, approaching the world with the creative drive of an artist and the problem solving skills of an engineer. Our company growth plan involves both private sector funding and the unique inclusion of high profile sponsorship opportunities for some of the world's top brands ready to get their message out on a global scale. We encourage international, interdisciplinary collaborations and innovation as we bring together and induce a fusion of space, art, and humanity, coalescing for on the ground beneficial change for the whole of the human family.
Beyond our mission to win the Google Lunar X PRIZE competition we are working toward the development of a suite of space exploration and adventuring technologies and service offerings. These are all intended to bring space closer to humanity. This includes our membership program, educational & entertaining public events, outreach campaigns and the inclusion of the arts in new and imaginative ways.
See You Soon, On The Moon!
