Selenokhod welcomes its third PhD onboard

A member of our team, Alexander Shaenko, has succesfully defended his
PhD thesis in the field of mathematical modeling and software
development. Alexander's thesis was devoted to the development of a
mathematical model and related software for large space telescopes
engaged in thermal analysis.

The software in question - T.H.O.R.I.U.M.
- wasused in the design of the Russian space telescope "Millimetron"
as well as our mobile robot. Alexander's software will ensure that our
robot can perform all of its assigned tasks in extemely harsh
conditions on the Moon. By the way, he is the third PhD on our team.
We wish every success to this "new-born" PhD!
