New “Math Alive” Exhibit at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center®

RCSP Game Kiosk
The fantastic team at Huntsville’s U.S. Space & Rocket Center® is at it again inspiring young people to study math and science with the new “Math Alive” exhibit, which opens tomorrow. This traveling exhibit, which will be in Huntsville through Feb. 3, 2013, lets visitors to the Center see real-world, fun applications of mathematics. It brings to life the real match behind what children love most – video games, sports, design, music, space, and robotics – through an entertaining, hands-on interactive experience.
The approximately 6,500 square feet are organized into six themed main galleries, “Outdoor Action…Adventure Sports,” “Build Your World…Environment,” “Future Style…Style and Design,” “Kickin’ It…Entertainment,” “Game Plan…Video Games and Other Games,” and “Robotics and Space.”
The Rocket City Space Pioneers are big fans of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. In fact, our RCSP game developed by team member AMA is on display in a couple of cool kiosks over there, one in the Davidson Center and the other in the main museum/training center.
Visitors to the Center get to experience Huntsville’s role in the making of the moon rocket, the space race, the Apollo mission, and learn about the Space Shuttle program, the International Space Station, and NASA’s future missions. They can delve into the history and evolution of space exploration and watch potential engineers, scientists, and astronauts of the future train at Space Camp® or Aviation Challenge®.
There is a great deal of buzz about this new exhibit – a must visit, particularly for students in grades 3-8.
