Podcast with evadot.com
27C3 and Rover Mockup R0
A few days ago a new Podcast with us has been published on evadot.com and we took the great opportunity to talk with Michael Dornboos a bit about the last months and what's next on our schedule. One of the big topics was the 27C3 (CCC), the biggest Hacker Conference in Germany, where we did a Presentation and Workshop (Presentation Video is now online). We also talked about the R0, a Rover mockup for our Developers so they can work with something actually living and moving on their Desk, something that is responding to what they programmed just minutes before. That's also something that might be available in the future for you to play with and if that comes true, you would be able to buy it in our Shop.
DLR
Another topic about which Michael was talking with us is our Partnership with the DLR, Germany's national research center for aeronautics and space. One of their recent developments is Justin, a humanoid robot that can help with certain tasks on the ISS. It's not only Justin but a lot of technology actively working in outer space at the moment that has been developed by the DLR. We are thrilled to work with them and think we can both benefit from it.
There are also a lot of other topics mentioned in the podcast I'm not going to write about now, so go to evadot.com now and listen to episode #58.
