ORLANDO, FL. (May 25, 2012) - Omega Envoy, the Florida team competing in the Google Lunar XPRIZE (GLXP) is proud to welcome CT Social as a new partner company.  CT Social is a social media management and consulting company based in Orlando. They offer support services for businesses seeking to develop or expand their presence online through web and graphic design, mobile apps, and social strategies. The Omega Envoy project is run by Earthrise Space, Inc. (ESI), a non-profit research institution dedicated to developing space technology in collaboration with industry and academic institutions. ESI seeks to provide students  with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and operating real spacecraft. Their efforts provide students with real-world experience that is unavailable to them in the classroom or through internships with large corporations.

In a joint statement, CT Social partners Greg Trujillo and Carolyn Capern said, “It is a real pleasure for us to partner with an organization that is willing to empower students to invest in building the next great technologies. We are excited to work with Earthrise Space, Inc. and the Omega Envoy project to help them communicate their goals to a world that is ready to get excited about what the future holds.”

ESI can provide services to private companies, defense/government agencies, and educational institutions that currently have the resources to explore space and are looking for low cost products that will accomplish their mission requirements. The company’s initiatives will enhance the accessibility of technology, increase the general understandin g of what can be gained from a revitalized space program, and promote the advancement of innovative commercial space systems.
