The Rover team has been very busy lately building our first rover prototype. It will be completed in the coming days, but here is a sneak peak at the body. We are using composites, just as we plan to use for the flight version, however, for ease of fabrication and for financial reasons this prototype will be fiberglass. The fabrication process is rather simple requiring little tooling; a video of the entire build will come out soon.
