May 19, 2012 - by They grow up so fast!

It's been a year since Lara and Donnie first started volunteering with us, and it's been a great year with them.  Now that both Lara and Donnie has graduated, it's time for them to leave us and bring their skills to another job.

Farewell Lara and Donnie, i hope you both find an awesome job that you enjoy and I hope you continue to support us.  I'll send you both a text message when we get on the moon.

May 10, 2012 - by Busy busy

The past few weeks has been very busy at Earthrise Space, Inc. headquarter.  Some of our amazing interns have graduated, we will miss them.  By now some interns are settling into their new jobs.  Other interns are recovering from their final exams and eager to start the summer with our rover and lander.

Whoops, i almost forgot to get you that potluck photo.  Here's a photo of the potluck, notice Max focusing on work while tempted by so much food.

We had another one of our monthly potluck today.  I'm so full, i don't see myself moving anytime soon.  If only i can order our rover to get me some more soda, then exercise for me.  We also had our group photo with all our interns.  I'm gonna upload some pictures next week, in the mean while, here's a picture of Donnie on the moon.

March 24, 2012 - by Space Flight Payloads Workshop

Joe and I went to the Space Flight Payloads Workshop sponsored by the Florida Space Grant Consortium and Space Florida this Friday.  Companies that are either payload developers, launch providers or platform developers gather, discuss and present informaton on the future of space payloads.  Earthrise Space Inc. was a proud participant in this workshop, where we spread awareness of our project and presented our progress and payload options to future sponsors.

Thank you Florida Space Grant Consortium and Space Florida

This week at ESI we had a state official visit from Workforce Central to show them our progress for the GLXP. We introduced ourselves and told him a little bit of what we do here as well as what aspect of the project we are working on for GLXP. Our STK simulator attempted to teach the state official about the orbital mechanics involved in landing us safely on the moon. He was very impressed with our goals and hopes to see us achieve every one of them.
