LIVE! NASA Student Career Experience Program (SCEP) – Monday 10/24/11
12:30pm Eastern time.

The NASA Student Career Experience Program (SCEP), also known as Cooperative education (co-op), is a structured method of combining classroom-based education with practical work experience.  Co-ops alternate semesters of academic study with semesters of full-time employment throughout their matriculation. This arrangement allows the student to enhance academic knowledge, personal development, financial assistance, and professional preparation through the interaction of both study and work experiences.

Don’t miss Ms. Josephine Pereira talk to you about your potential future career at NASA!  This session will allow students to understand the cooperative education program opportunities available and the benefits that this program has to offer. Ms. Pereira will also provide a high level overview of the major programs and projects that are driving the next wave of work for NASA.

To attend this presentation, Monday, October 24, 2011, or to view past presentations anytime, please visit http://NASAMICIconference.com .  Go to the presentation page, found by clicking the “Presentations” button in the Expo Entrance Lobby.  Once there, you will find this session under the NASA’s SOLAR System banner.

Annoucements like this are just another way the JURBAN Challenge Program hopes to help train underserved and disadvantaged students to build autonomous service robotic systems that have significant impact in their community.
