Team FREDNET explores the exhibits at Griffith Observatory; learning about the Moon's impact on the tides here on Earth, and seeing an explanation of the phases of the Moon as well.  All of the exhibits at Griffith help the public to explore outer space and stimulate young imaginations.  Here we see that the Moon's orbit around the Earth creates both the phases of the Moon that we see, and the tides we experience as well.
