Team FREDNET and ISE are officially collaborating on requirements, design, and development of mission components to minimize the risk of failures from radiation and solar storms.  A solar storm can yield a powerful stream of high energy charged particles which could power down on board systems causing black outs and thus jeopardizing our Lunar Mission.  Since the success of our initial Lunar Mission depends on transmission of data from the spacecraft during transit and while on the Moon, this partnership is a critical component of Team FREDNET strategy.  Other areas of collaboration between Team FREDNET and ISE are also being explored.
