While ARCA is preparing to launch their big balloon, some of our members are preparing to launch a slightly smaller balloon with a 1 kg payload. This video shows the first tests of the parachute carried out in Austria few weeks ago. The parachute controller has been improved since then and it can now glide straight as you can see in the next video. No collision avoidance though ;-)
