Outreach and public relation activities.

We have had significant success with the outreach and public relation activities this fall.

At a certain moment, one monday morning, we had to negotiate with two (independent and competing) Danish TV stations, who both wanted to interview us. One was a longer program where the project could be presented more in detail, the other was a newscast, with perhaps 1 million viewers, with a length of perhaps 30 seconds.

It was interesting to be confronted with such a choice, though in reality, the choice was not there: we had already said yes to on TV station before the secoond asked, and the journalist from the longer program said clearly: "you can not do both!".

So we kept the agreement already made! Trying not too offend the other channel too much, and promissing that next time there are interesting news, we will contact them.

However the overall experience was stimulating!! :)

It was a very good current peak on our press and  outreach activities in 2011.

Oh, and the countdown to Christmas eve is ongoing: -7 days in countdown, and counting.
