Day 1 of the Team summit

So we started at 8.30, and we kept going until  17.30, it was bit hard. Mst of the meeting was fine, with the tough discussions, where they were expected.

I would have been happier, if those legal discussions was over and done with!

On the positive side, we got the first specifications of the GLXP payload, which was like a time capsule!

So a coin, some documents on an electronic form, magnetic perhaps. Since we can not expect the magnetic media to last in space, I proposed paper, or better thin metal foil, and I proposed binary encoding, with a very thin needle, so that the infornmation density can be large.

(I made on of those once, put a date, my name and my kids names on a piece of paper, added a few coins, and put it all down in a hole and put a meter of concrete on top! :D )

Total mass, I would hope, less than 30 grams, since the box GLXP showed us had a mass of 70 grams... we will propose do the box part in 5 g in a space proven material, normally used for PCBs! :)
