The document signed by UPC rector, Antoni Giró, and the BMT leader and chairman of Galactic Suite Moonrace, Xavier Claramunt, establishes a framework agreement that aims to establish and coordinate the collaboration between the company and UPC in training, scientific research, technological development and transfer of technology developed by the University through the creation of the Chair Barcelona Moon Team.

This department aims to develop interdisciplinary research that will enable both the realization of experiments on the lunar surface and the development of part of the necessary technology to reach the Moon.
