Barcelona Moon Team in Washington
Rafael Harillo, space law advisor and member of the BMT, assisted beween 7th and 11th of February at the 14th Annual FAA Commercial Space Transportation Conference. The event was very successful both in assistants and contents, including the non-scheduled talk of Charles Bolden about the new role for private companies in space. NASA’s ILDD is a great initiative and we all would like to see ESA doing something similar.
The conference had a great number of panelists discussing on orbital space transportation systems including Bigelow, de ULA, orbital Sciences, Space X, Boeing, Sierra nevada, Armadillo, Virgin Galactic, Xcor etc.
Rafael explored the current situation of legal issues concerning the launch possibilities for BMT, still open.
