After these presentations, the teams will have the opportunity for bilateral discussions with ESA officials. Many ESA representatives will attend this meeting including: General Studies Program, Science, Robotic Exploration, or Human Space Flight (under which the Lunar Lander project is under development).
After lunch, the teams will continue the discussions with ESA representatives at the HE Space Operation, a Dutch company celebrating its 30th anniversary, for which they invited X PRIZE Founder and CEO Dr. Peter Diamandis.
The objectives of the meeting are the recognition of the GLXP as a valuable initiative for space exploration and to explore a potential cooperation similar to the one developed between NASA and US teams through the ILDD contract in August 2010.
