Wheel Slip
Wheel Slip
Slip is evident from grouser spacing on the ground versus grouser spacing on the wheel's rim. This extent of slip occurs when a drawbar test simulates the limit of regolith strength. The robot's rimpull and wheel torque must be immensely stronger than any circumstance that a planetary terrain can present. Regolith and terrain must always be first to fail.
