Rover Egress from the Lander

There are no guarantees of lander orientation due to uncertainties of rocks and terrain. After landing, the rover can point-turn on the lander to choose a favorable departure direction. This skeletal rover is for test purposes only. It is one-sixth the mass of the flight rover, so tractive forces in earth testing approximate those expected on the moon.
