Last friday, the lider of the robotic team received an award from the Universidad Austral de Chile. This award recognizes the research achievements associated with technology transference and outreach attained during 2012.

Today (Monday 13 May) the research of one of our team members appeared in El Mercurio, one of the main newspapers of the country.
This research deals with a new approach to detect potential new lifeforms elsewhere in the Solar System, and could potentially be applied for more distant exoplanets.

Members of our robotics team are now focused in the circuitry of the EM motor of our AngelicvM 1 robot.

Past weekend, one of our team members was invited to participate in another documentary, entitled "The sons of the stars". This documentary is a co-production between the Chilean television and that of Uruguay, Spain and Portugal. "The sons of the stars" wants to explore the relation among different Latin cultures with the sky, and will cover archaeology, anthropology, modern astrophysics and astrobiology, this latter one being the topic covered by our team member.
