We are very pleased to be partnered with Odyssey Moon as their prime contractor. MDA is an experienced company with substantial space heritage. We are perhaps best known for designing and providing the main robotic systems for the US Space Shuttle and the International Space Station, but our recent space flight experience is much broader, extending also to leadership roles in the areas of satellite servicing, planetary exploration, and end-to-end space missions.

We take pride on our extensive track record of delivering high-value cost-effective solutions to our customers and this has been a key part of our successes in space over the past 40 years. We also have a good understanding of, and experience with, the commercial space world, and so we look forward to using this technical heritage and expertise to make Odyssey Moon's plan happen.

On January 8th, 2008 MDA announced that our space business is being acquired by the U.S. aerospace company Alliant Techsystems (NYSE: ATK). A binding agreement has been signed, but this transaction is still subject to regulatory approvals in the US and Canada. The transaction is expected to close later this year. We view this as a positive step forward that will enhance the ways we can support our customer Odyssey Moon.

ATK has been a strategic partner to MDA for some time, and both ATK and MDA share the same culture and values of being customer focused and striving to offer low price, innovative solutions. Space missions to locations such as the surface of the Moon are not easy. In fact they are hard - but we are confident that our proven technical space heritage, combined with our management philosophy of producing cost effective, turn-key space mission solutions while containing and mitigating risks, will enable us to successfully design and execute this ground-breaking mission. We are honored to have been selected by Odyssey Moon as their prime contractor.
