On Monday, February 25, LunaTrex conducted a press conference in Anderson, Indiana, to announce its entry into the GLXP, to local and regional media. The response was excellent, and we are already garnering interest from regionally-based companies interested in sponsorship.
We also have opened up a dialogue with Purdue University for greater involvement from them in Team LunaTrex's efforts. As many know, Purdue is the alma-mater of the first and last people on the Moon, and it would be excellent if their involvement could be increased in this project.
Current Progress:
 - The team is putting together a top-level WBS for all elements of the mission. We will further decompose this into lower levels of tasks and begin assigning tasks to individuals, with deliverables associated, over the next few months. This structure will also be applicable in our parallel efforts of building our micro-satellite launch and operations services.
-Â We are putting together concepts for our educational outreach program and intend to get something going on that as soon as this coming fall, to kick off the school year.
- We are evaluating several launch platforms, including Falcon from Space-X (a GLXP Preferred Provider), as our launch vehicle. We are working toward making a selection of the launch vehicle by later this spring.
More news will be coming as we make strides forward.
