A mobile robot's configuration can be its own worst enemy. Much attention is directed toward locomotive drive and traction, so the oversights usually occur elsewhere. The most common impediments are hangup of hubs and sideframes, high-centering of undercarriage, and exceeding the designed approach angle. This video looks at some of the pitfalls.
