MoonBots Team Lunar LegoBots Presents Space Exploration at the American Museum of Science and Energy
The event will provide materials and guidance for visitors at the American Museum of Science and Energy in Oak Ridge, Tennessee to participate in activities and experiments having to do with space exploration. The team will lead participants in experiments and activities to allow them to investigate how craters are formed on the moon, experiment with rocket propulsion, and build an astrolabe to use in lunar observation.
MoonBots Team New Hartford RoboSpartans presents STEM-agedden: An Afternoon of MoonBots, GLXP & Space Exploration
An afternoon of hands-on MoonBots building, programming and CAD. It includes a MoonBots overview, space exploration discussion and live meeting with GLXP Team, the Part Time Scientists. The program ends with an inner-city Robotics After School Club Kick-off donation of the RoboSpartans' MoonBots 2.0 Phase I Prize, a MINDSTORMS NXT Kit. The event is a finale to a series of 5 MoonBots presentations made to SUNYIT teen academic camp participants from Utica, New York and surrounding communities. The RoboSpartans' goal is to reach out to 100 area students while jump-starting an inner-city robotics club.

On Sunday, 18 September 2011, the German Aerospace Center (DLR) will, for the 11th time, host the German Aerospace Day event. Here, interested adults and inquisitive children, techies and members of the general public with genuine enthusiasm for aerospace will be able to gain a first-hand impression of excellent research work. As in previous years, German Aerospace Day will once again be held at the DLR facility in Cologne, and also on a cordoned off area of the adjacent airport (Zulu Stand) that can be reached from the DLR site.
