Congrats to our Spaceloot giveaway winner!

Just before the 4th of July weekend I had announced that I was was going to do a giveaway for a boat-load... er, spaceship-load of loot to one lucky person who was within the, at that time, next 1000 followers on our Facebook and Twitter. Well, I threw all the names in a digital hat, drew one, and the results are in! Congratulations to our new pal Rajiv! I saw "new" but he's actually been a long time supporter of the X PRIZE foundation as a whole and is new to our Google Lunar X PRIZE specific social media pages. I'm glad we were able to suck him into the black hole that is our stream of space news and competition updates. I hope you like it here Rajiv! There's tons of space so make yourself at home. Heh heh... I'll stop with the space pun jokes... I'm Serius.

He's quite a charming fellow who looks really good in white. I wish someone could clone this guy...

Now it's Friday again and Friday is my favorite day for giving stuff out! This weekend is San Diego Comicon and in honor of all the going's on down there I'd like to see your best Con photo. It can be from Comicon, SpaceUp, or any other related gathering of geek culture. Send in pics of you in costume, with a celebrity or just holding your most precious con possession.

I'll do a quick judging based on creativity and the winner will receive this awesome SpaceX hat to look stylish at any future convention appearances. I'll post the winner and all other entries next week for all to enjoy.

Also If you're in the San Diego area tomorrow, July 14th, you should stop by the Space walk 2012: Visions of the Future art show at the Space Emporium. Come hang out and see some talented artists display their space related art skills. I'll have some artwork on display there and prints for sale as well! Check it out.
